REVIEW OF THE CURRENT SITUATION

The process that is utilized in the assembling of the commodities has been marked with great quality standards. This is based on the fact that the process operators have placed the quality rates of the work stations high. The process operators always make sure that the equipments and tools at the work stations are properly ordered. The quality of the parts of the plastic-brack product line is also checked periodically as the production produces continued. The lack of following of a well stated quality method of technique in the production process can adversely affect the operation (Thisse, 1998

It will be imperative that the production process formulates a well-structured quality method that will ensure that all the areas of the production line are covered. This will increase production effectiveness in the company increasing the customer satisfaction levels. The quality levels of the organization are to be improved. The quality manager of the company has been hired to develop the quality department of the corporation. This will increase the quality levels of the organization due to the reflection that has been made in made (Total Quality, 2004).

During the assembling process, the production quality issues have brought by the generation of waste materials scrapped off from the plastic inserts. Due to their nature of being waste remains from the production process, they are sold at lower prices. A quality stand has been taken by the process operators to ensure that these materials are re-processed to earn the company more funds. The levels of customer complaints in the corporation are very low. This can be credited to the effective quality measures that are being adopted in the manufacturing sector. The minimum returns that occur are attributed to the finishing and plating problems can be also addressed through the excellent processing of the product at its closing stages. The complaints that are received from the plastic-Brack products are based on the falling off the plastic inserts and the edges that are sharp. This problem can be countered by the manufacturing sector through the creation of an inspection point in the production sector that will ascertain that all the equipments have been checked before being packaged. This will reduce the number of complains that are being experienced (Thisse, 1998).

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The operations of the company have been managed properly with the process operators but have not been well maintained through out the entire process. This is the reason as to why customers have received commodities that have not given them value for their money. Through this quality control plan, quality assurance in the organization will be attained. This will make the organization to gain management improvements in the organization reducing the levels of customer complains. The efficiency of the production process will also be attained creating great customer relations between the organization and the clients. This will lead to the creation of customer loyalty.

ACTIONS/PLANS

It is imperative to note that the organization already has a system in place that can be developed in the quest of implementing the company quality plan. This will ensure that the quality plan of the organization has incorporated the methodology in the quality plan into an existing framework that will boost the quality levels of the organization.
