There are two major parts to this company analysis case study. Part one examines brief history and development of Company A. It builds on the theoretical framework of Inamori (Inamori, 1997; Inamori, 2009), Matsushita (Kotter, 1997) and Kotter (Kotter, 2012) that the business strategies and organizational culture of a company are often a reflection of the leaders who were responsible for developing the organization and business mission.
The second part examines the Company A form the standpoint of business strategy. Significant attention is given to the subject of organizational culture and strategic decision-making. This is starting to change in the face of global competition and the need to improve business performance (Frieden, 2007; Gordon, 2001; Maynard, 2009; Rivoli, 2014; Rodrik, 2012).
