An employee in Al's company tapped into the company's computer system. In my opinion, this action not only breaks the organizational culture but also a criminal behavior which is a privacy infringement. Therefore, the employee should be fired firmly.

The employee showed the information which he stole from the company's computer system to Al that the vice president for human resources who is an old friend of Al's sometimes hooked on pornography on the web during his work time. I think it is wrong to investigate other employees with the information which achieves by illegal approach.

In addition, employees have the right to do some habits on the rest time of their work. If the vice president for human resources hooked on some fashion web rather than the web porn, I think Al will not be disturbed and he will just talk to the old friend about this problem and ask him not to use too much time on it during the work time. So there is no need to fire the vice president if he does well on his work.

On the other hand, if the employee tells the news that the vice president hooked on pornography on the web to other employees, it will have bad impact on employee that they can break the organizational culture of the company without punishment. In this way, Al should reduce the salary of the vice president and ask him not to do that again during the work.

All in all, Al should reduce the salary of the vice president and announce to every employee that they should follow the organizational culture of the company otherwise they will be punished as salary reduction or even be fired.
