What Is a Parent
Mother and father are names for god in the hearts and minds of all children. A parent is a caregiver a teacher and role model. Parents also play an important role in the type of people their children become in life. The method in which a child is raised makes an important impact on the decisions that child will make.
In the beginning of a child's life as soon as they are born their parents are the sole caregiver which makes them like god to their children. Parents take care of children while they are infants by providing the proper nutrition and feeding them at the correct times so they grow and develop properly. A parent is also responsible for dressing a child in the proper attire for whatever season it may be. Parents must be diligent in taking a child to doctors' appointments to be sure they are developing properly, have no diseases or illnesses, and their bodies are functioning properly.
The parents are the most important instructor for a child in their early development. A parent teaches them how to feed themselves as well as the proper foods to choose to be a healthy person. Knowing the difference between right and wrong is an important lesson a parent teaches a child as well. Parents instruct their children how to speak so they can communicate with them and other people as well. When a child grows older they are taught by a parent to drive so they can travel from one place to another without causing an accident and causing harm to themselves or others.
The actions and choices a parent makes in their life have considerable effect on the decisions a son or daughter makes from childhood to the end of their days. If a parent continuously makes poor decisions in life their children are more likely to make poor decisions as well. The reason for these similar decisions is because that is the type of behavior they experienced in their development and vice versa. No matter how much a parent hopes their children won't make the same mistakes they made in life most of the time they make similar decisions and in some cases make worse decisions than their parents made because of the environment the person grew up in.
From birth to adulthood and beyond the lessons learned from a parent will follow a person throughout their entire life. The manner in which a parent cares for a child will affect the way that individual approaches parenthood themselves. The actions and choices a parent makes while raising a child will most likely have an impact on the choices and actions their offspring makes whether those choices be responsible or irresponsible. Parents are the center of the universe for all children.
