"WHEN I LOOK OUT THE WINDOW"

When I look out the window, I see Pakistan's flag swaying in the breeze. The first thing that comes to my mind by looking at it is that what has become of this country for which millions of people gave lives up for.

Everyday in the newspapers and television, there is at least one news about some terrorist attack or some people's deaths. In Karachi daily, people are dying because of target killing. What is the government doing? They don't have time to think about the citizens of this country which they are ruling. They only think for the better of themselves and do not invest any money for the betterment of this country.

The population of poor people had increased. On every road you'll see people lying on the roads and begging and they refuse to do any jobs. On the other hand stealing has become a major crime in the society. Even on roads, people break the car-windows and steal all the valuables like purses, wallets, cell phones, etc.

Soilders die daily. No foreigners, tourists, artists, sportsmen visit Pakistan just because they are afraid that someone will attack them just like the attack that was planted on Sri-Lanka's cricket team. Pakistan, according to the internet, has become the second most dangerous country to visit. The reputation of this country is atrocious.

During the 2010 flood, so many people lost their homes and our government didn't do much to provide them shelter. Many organizations and citizens gathered food and the other basic necessities for them. People from other countries donated, Angelina Jolie, herself came but the government took no notice of the victims. Some songs were dedicated to these victims, even though it doesn't make a difference, they still cared unlike our government who is in the same country and still doesn't care.

After all this I question myself that is all this the governments fault or also our fault? I think that both of us are responsible because we are all regardless. We should all make a change and think of where this flag would be in a few years.
