Which animal did you picture yourself as before you took the assay?

I pictured myself as a wise, old Owl before I took the assay.

What does your result tell you?

My results matched my thoughts in that I am an Owl. However, the character tendencies associated with this animal are considered as a "Strategist." I would not have picked Owl if I knew this as I do not predominantly consider myself a strategist. When I look at the character by style matrix I can see that although I have a predominant tendency towards the strategist my characteristics are dispersed amongst the various categories.

Why are you in this type?

I believe that the greatest majority of my character tendencies such as working best with systems, I live in my head/ definite thought focused and certainly my continual search of knowledge being my greatest motivator, these traits aligned with this class. Though I am a predominant strategist, Tactician and Logistician both were close runner ups suggesting I have several character traits from these classes.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this style?

Some good advantages are that I am thought focused and have vision. I have the skills necessary to formulate a plan of change when needed. Some disadvantages would be that although I have vision and great ideas I may get caught up in the planning aspect and not follow through. I can easily get caught up in the what if’s, over-analyzing and complicate matters.

What other style would you relate well with?

I think I would work well with a tactician as that is the character I scored next highest to. I think my characteristics could easily align to work well with any of the categories.
