Who is God for me?

God, he is someone who religious people do believe in. According to Islam, he is Allah, according to Buddhism he is Buddha, according to Hinduism God is divided into three namely Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and according to Christianity God is the holy trinity which is composed of The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. But what about those who does not imply religion on their lives? What about Atheistic or Agnostic people? Who is God for them? I was raised as a Roman Catholic, I was taught religion from elementary to high school. I was one of those religion freaks since 1st year high school until 3rd year. It was on my 4th year when everything turned upside down.

It was because of a friend of mine, my religion teacher, and the internet. My friend was an atheist. He was getting terrible attention from my religion teacher, every day. I somehow find it annoying because he is my bestfriend. My bestfriend was able to debate with my teacher everytime and I was fascinated by his knowledge about everything. Then there I was, reading books of Hitchens, Dawkins, and quotations from other Atheists. There were those quotes which made me question God. And so I did and I turned out to be better after it. Here is one of my favorite Atheistic poems.

"Here I am,

doubting your existence, questioning your omnipotence.

To you they plead their case,

to all you refuse to show your face,

In the eyes of the believers, the congregation,

I am condemned to hell, deserved damnation.

Because I choose to think freely,

because I do not listen to the cries of the holy man."

I am an Atheist, I don't believe in God, but I have respect for everyone who has different religions. I am open-minded and I won't care if someone will say negative things about me not believing in God. For me? God is not great, how can someone who does not even exist be great? That is all that I can say.
