Wow, so Destiny passed a note saying that he told Maria. Maria told John and John said that he would not believe it until he read it for his self. Oh gosh, but Destiny was the one who said we still do uphold those traditions. Jaime said she that she was not sure about her statement it. Well, John said he was going to background research on the "Anglo-Saxons and what traditions that the community still upholds today." Well, that was like two weeks ago Maria was supposed to follow up with him, but let's see what John found out. Hey umm John what did you find. John said he found lots of things, here's the paper he said got to go. Oh, so let's see.

Some Anglo-Saxons traditions still hold true today there are many common things that society wouldn't even think about that Anglo-Saxons had in common. For example women are allowed to part take in the wars and fight with the warriors in Anglo-Saxons traditions. But they had to be an able to have the courage, bravery, and skill of a warrior to part take in this. Also, in society today women in our day in age can join the army if they have the will and might to show their abilities to do it. Anglo-Saxons gave women their rights only if they could uphold their plethora of duties.

Another Anglo-Saxons tradition we can denote how they choose rulers/kings and their leaders. Anglo-Saxons only choose people who showed courage, bravery and leadership. Because certain people exemplify king like characteristics and traits they have a great deal of responsibility. So, Anglo-Saxons must choose wisely in order to keep their lands upheld and an appropriate manner. This is similar to our political world the way we choose president is by who exemplifies the responsibility and who has more knowledge about political science. Most people vote based off of knowledge and who exemplify an appropriate view on politics and understands both views.

Another similarity the importance of their after-life of the Anglo-Saxons. They have many similarities to society's view point. Because they bury their loved ones and lays them to rest with many jewels, treasures and maybe even one of their favorite items. Honestly they really don't know what happens during the after-life because no one knows for sure what happens. That of some sort similar point of view to society. For example we bury loved ones with their favorite outfit and jewelry. Also, with pictures to remember their special ones that they loved or maybe loved them. A good example of this would be the king Shild he was laid to rest with many jewels and treasures. Also, many swords and armor.

In conclusion, Anglo-Saxons had many values in common with society
