Goodman Manufacturing CoNo one has come to a conclusion of what causes breast cancer; however, doctors do know the start of breast cancer is when cells within the breast tissue mutate and begin to grow. These cells begin to spread more than healthy cells and usually form a tumor that spreads throughout the body to the breast and lymph nodes.
We have yet to come across the information to identify the risks of breast cancer and why some people who have no risk factors develop breast cancer and those who have risk factors never do. However, they feel breast cancer can come from a complex interaction of genetic makeup and the environment.
Doctors believe five to 10% of breast cancers are linked to gene mutations passed through generations of a family. Tests have identified that defective genes BRCA1 and BRCA2, which are the most common of breast cancer, increases the risk of breast cancer and ovarian cancer in women. If you have a strong family history of breast cancer or other cancers, taking a blood test can help identify if you have the defective BRCA or other genes that may have been passed through your family.
Although there are tests that can help you detect if you have the defective gene, BRCA, and other risk factors, this does not mean you will get breast cancer or any other particular disease. It is just a way of letting you know you may be at risk. There are other factors associated with breast cancer such as women who have bearded a child over the age of 30 are at a higher risk because pregnancy stabilizes breast cells. Stabilizes breast cells can cause the cells not to respond to female hormones such as progesterone and estrogen. If you are planning to have children, it is very important to breast feed. Radiation treatment on the chest as a child or young adult numerous of times put you at risk for breast cancer, and last race also plays a big part in breast cancer. Breast cancer is found more in Caucasian women then African American, Hispanic, and Asians.

You have Chemotherapy, which is a treatment that can be taken by mouth or injected into the vein, or muscle. This drug stops the growth of cancer cells by killing the cells or by killing the cells or by dividing. Hormonal therapy is another treatment.
