Bureaucracy and You

You awaken by your clock radio and you can listen to your favorite radio station. The Federal Communications Commission plays an important role in the telecommunications arena and does affect daily lives The FCC is a subsidiary of the Executive Branch; they report directly to the president. FCC is in charge of regulating all non-federal government use of the radio spectrum including television broadcasting, and all interstate telecommunications such as wire, satellite and cable, as well as all international communications that originate or terminate in the United States.
