Camping in Green Lake Valley
This past week my family and I took a weekend trip up to Green Lake Valley to go camping. After the hour and a half ride up there, we unpacked and set up around our site. Unfortunately my dad and I forgot to pack the tent and had to set up sleeping bags outside. We then caught up with each other for an hour the built a bonfire. We sang songs and roasted marshmallows. After we all had enough of the smoke we put the fire out and went to bed.
The next morning we all had breakfast and headed down to Green Valley Lake. As far as lakes go this was a tiny one. After spending a small fortune on fishing passes and rowboat rentals we set out on the water for a mere hour. My cousins and I sat around talking and patiently waiting for the fish to bite. However after our hour was up we rowed to the dock with no dinner. When we arrived back at our camp site a large portion on us went on a hike. We climbed seven hills and took on many rock formations. As we arrived back at our site dinner was cooking and we all prepared to eat. After an awesome dinner we sat around playing poker until the sun raised.
We then promptly packed up and headed out after changing out of our smoky clothes. We drove down and had breakfast with the family at a Del Taco.
