After graduating high school, new comers to the world are faced with many problems. These problems include how to work at bettering their future. Many rely on the norm of college, but many are starting to see the benefits of apprenticeship's and the rewarding futures that they give.

When looking at how to improve one's future many look for an institution that can provide a background in a field that one may wish to work for. In doing so, many look at how much it would cost to get this knowledge, if there's a work and study type internship with monetary benefits, and possibly the distance they would need to travel from their residence to said institution.

When it comes to ones advancement in their future, most realize that they will need some sort of certificate or reference showing they have some experience. Not only are you gaining hands on work experience but your being paid while working towards a certificate of completion for that field of work.

After you have seen the expenses and the possible income one could earn while participating in either a college or an apprenticeship, one of the biggest problems yet to be discussed is travel. While most that attend a college would just get a dorm to rid themselves of a distance factor, these young adults are still faced with paying large amounts of money for a one room dorm. Compared to living at home, along with paying for this dorm if you're out of state, one has to pay out of state living expenses. Now comparing this to an apprenticeship, one is paid for the distance they would have to travel to a jobsite and many jobsites are in your immediate
