A private prison should be build, I do agree with building a private prison because it is a non-profit ran prison. Correctional agencies turn to private prison because they want to eliminate having the appropriate funds to build prisons. Public prison use tax payer's money to take care of the inmates. My states need to stop having the tax-payers money pay for the prisons. The citizens are not in prison, they earn their money fair and square. I understand that the men and women in prison made the choices and decisions to be in there. I also understand that people in prison need health care, and the necessity to live. At my private prison I am providing that for them all of the necessities to live but different from the public prisons. Private prisons are to lower costs and also provide rehabilitations. Also more programs for the prisons, to help released prisoners into the general population.

Comparing public and private prisons cost is very complicated for a variety of reasons. They are hired as contractors by the government to design, build and manage the prison. The government then pays the company per prisoner/per day . In other words, the more people that are in jail, the more money these companies make . The Corrections Corporation of America and the GEO Group own about 75 percent of all the private prisons in the United States . Roughly 20 percent of all U.S. inmates are held in private prisons . A private prison is the leader while public prisons are the follower. The reason I say that is because private prisons introduce competition to public prisons. The public prisons hear about that and want to lower their cost also.

The way I will deal with the budget committee and the labor union is by giving them my proposal on how I will run my private prison. I will have guidelines and the written ten issues regarding the private prisons. I am going to persuade the board to look at it my way.
