The vacant expression in my eyes staring upon the flickering box that eats away at me consuming nearly all my time, explains it all. It's 1:03am on Monday. My eyes wandering without a purpose along the 16-inch screen catch a glance at this harsh reality I must now face. In little less than 8 short hours, the consequences will catch up with me. Having not completed a multitudinous quantity of homework I realise what has taken hold of me to put myself in this godforsaken situation. Tis' the devilish hands of procrastination strangling my brain forcing all aspects of urgency and anxiety to fly away leaving me in a false sense of calm.
Realising what I am doing, I throw the mind eating screen down to the floor and hurriedly gather my notes to begin writing some blasted English essay that was not even worth any credits! Then a thought crossed my mind, how was I meant to complete such a vigorous task with an empty stomach? So I rushed to the fridge in search of some grub that would hopefully restore my motivational levels.
