Efficiency and Collaboration Proposal

Here at Party Plates the main concern is not only to increase profit for the company and shareholders, but to insure our clients get the best service and product possible. This being said this proposal will define the need to upgrade our present operating system. Even though Microsoft Excel has served our purpose very well in the past Microsoft is continually advancing and improving the capabilities available for businesses. This proposal will also look at other wireless collaboration technologies that can be beneficial to the company in increasing productivity which will in turn increase profit

Why Convert to Access

As a business, Party Plates is behind when it comes to marketing, tracking sales, and managing personnel data. Although business is thriving, and there are many new projects on the horizon, Party Plates as a whole is in need of an update. Access, a Microsoft program ideal for managing inventory, targeting customers, increasing sales, and building strong financial foundations is a smarter choice over the current use of Microsoft excel. Although Excel has many features that are beneficial to the business, there are many things that is lacking. Access provides tools for successful business procedures and management. Templates for reports and invoices, monitoring the competition's progress and strength, and efficient tracking of projects are just some of the many tools offered by Access. Overall, Access has more tools to offer, and more resources for a company such as Party Plates to utilize.

Benefits of Access in a work Environment

Seeing as Microsoft is always in development of newer versions of this software it would be a very crucial factor in both sales and expansion of our businesses if we continued to periodically researched into Microsoft software and expand on our current data software thru a continual collaboration of business. By implementing the software into the work place it will be easier to spot deficiencies and any problems that may arise in the future. It will also allow for better access to communication between sections of our business especially if there are new ideas that could further our business ventures.
