My Family and I

My name is Jose Valdez, I am a 14 year old student at Arleta High School. I love music, I use it calm my stress. I was born in Mexico on October of 98". I love to talk to my family, we joke around a lot and fight but we're family no matter what. My favorite sport is football, I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I live with my two uncles Javier & Tony along with my grandfather "Guicher". My uncle Javier is like my dad, he loves me like a son, spoils me and makes me work for the things I want. He is the reason I am a Steelers fan. Javier and I are close because I love him like a father. My other uncle Tony, he raised me to work, he is nice, but makes me do chores 24/7. My grandfather 'Guicher" raised me when i was little, he tought me how to ride a bike and always made sure i was ready for school. I do a brother and sister, Miguel jr and Gloria. Miguel jr is my blood, I love him, I respect him because whe he was born he was cursed with Down-Syndrome. He lives with my sister, Gloria. She is fun to talk to but we rarely talk since she lives far away.

My dad, Miguel and my Mother left me with my grandmother Jovita to make sure I had a great life, they never wanted me to go through of being in poverty back in Mexico. My uncle Javier was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Monreo High School along with his brother Tony. The highest level of education they both attained was a High School diploma. However, Javier received a scholarship from the University of Santa Barbara. The reaseon he could not attend the school was because he had to help his parents with bills. Both of my uncles work at Legacy FX, its a company that does special effects for movies like Iron Man 3, Avengers, and the Twilight saga. They also work on comercials. The best part of their job is sometimes they take me to see what they work on. My favorite was playing with the Iron Man suit. I met my uncles when I was brought by my parents here. My favorite moment with Javier was when he yelled at me for failing English in 7th grade. The reason this is my favorite is because before that moment i would always be lazy, never do my work and throw away my report card. Then my English teacher called Javier to tell him I was failing. When he heard i was failing he got mad, he even dug up and old report card of his to tell me he wants grades like that. The grades on the report were A,A,A and A. He then told me if I cant pass a class in middle school, I should just work at McDonalds- he said he get me job application for Micky D's. This motavaited me to work harder in class and to be a better person. My favorite moment with Tony was when he took me to Disney Land, at the time i was a kid and I thought it was most awesome place on earth. My favorite moment with my grandpa was when he tought me taught me how to ride
