Laws of Life Essay

"Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward." This quotation is another way to say the question I chose, what could I change about myself to become a better person. There are three major things I would like to change, which are as follows: laziness, attitude, and rude behavior towards authority. If I change these behaviors, I am bound to become a better person.

Laziness is a bad response to something you do not want to do. It is also a nonchalant way of doing certain things. This action sometimes causes me to procrastinate, therefore making my work sloppy. I would really like to quit my laziness, but it is a hard habit to quit. I am mostly lazy when I have to do chores, certain school work, and many other things.

Attitude is a negative response toward people. It can be both verbal and physical. I would like to change my attitude toward people, especially people I do not know. This causes people to lose respect for me as a person. My attitude will get me nowhere, and just hold me back in life.

Rude behavior is a negative response toward authority and even your peers. I am mostly rude toward authority. When I am rude, I feel that authority or whoever is trying to be right when in actuality they are wrong. Many people judge me by my rude behavior. I hope that I will overcome my rude behavior, and be more polite to people.

Laziness, attitude, and rude behavior are what I just shared with you. I showed how my bad habits affect me and others around me. As I said, "even if you stumble, you're still moving forward." I will cherish that quote in my heart for the rest of my life. These are the behaviors I could change about myself to become a better person.
