Matsuchita and japans changing culture

1º all started when Japanese economy entered a prolonged economic slump. Slowly at first, troubled companies started to lay off older workers, effectively abandoning lifetime employment guarantees. They concluded that loyalty to a company might not be reciprocated, effectively undermining one of the central bargains made in postwar japan.

2º because most of the recruits choose the new type of scheme, which is they could forgo the guaranteed retirement bonus in exchange of higher starting salaries and keep perks such as cheap company housing.

3º in 1920s to 1980s Matsushita was at the forefront od the rise of japan to the status of major economic power, several commentators attributed Matsushitas success, and that of the Japanese economy, to the existence of Confucian values in the workplace. Matsuchita provide workers with wide range of benefits including cheap housing, guaranteed lifetime employment, seniority-based pay systems, and generous retirement bonuses. In other words, the traditional values made an important liability in the 1990s and 2000s, with the only exemption, that they could forgo the guaranteed retirement bonus in exchange for higher staring salaries.

4º to have more loyal workers, improve their work so they can have more profits and generated more the only problem they have with these changes was the generations that have a commitment to traditional Japanese values as their parents.

5º So It could cover more around the world and also take advantage of their different special fields.

6º that you need to make a plan to be able to every need of your workers make them as confortable as possible so they can improve in their work, also, making your company global just like Matsishita did make you have more opportunities in business and take advantage of your specialties.
