I decided to write about why organic detergent is a better alternative than store bought or traditional detergents currently being sold on the market. Organic detergents are more expensive when comparing with store bought detergents, however in the long run the dollars will be worth it when you consider the harm traditional brands can cause to our health. (www.globalhealingcenter.com) When buying store bought detergents the ingredients found in the product gives no clearing understanding as to the mentioned ingredients found on the labels. Thus making the product having no real purpose in keeping our clothes clean. Over time the exposure can cause allergies from the chemicals found in traditional detergents.
Organic detergents can also be made from products you may currently have in your own home. Organic detergents does not contain chlorine, phosphates or other chemicals that are dangerous to our health. Even though the cost may be higher than traditional brands, organic detergent helps by reducing the amount of plastic containers that end up in our landfills. This making our lifestyle and environment more safer than when using store bought detergent.
If I were marketing this product, my plan would to be that I would first make an outline of how much I would manufacture in the beginning, starting small. Next, I would gather all my information for a presentation as to the individuals, hopefully potential clients by showing them my growth potential and the graphs comparing why it would be better than store bought and the information to prove my theory. Robert Winston stated on, www.robertwinston.com/marketing, that developing a product marketing strategy is one of the most challenging and exciting aspects of product marketing and launching a new product. He stated that the marketing professional should begin by writing a working outline of his market plan to help organize the study, gather information, and organize the presentation. This is definitely the rule I would apply for my marketing plan. For competitors, he stated to overcome them, I must remember my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
When applying all of these methods, I know that the word organic detergent will be something to recognize and choose as a better alternative or as a choice that has quality for the consumer. If the presentation for my product is presentated the way the buyer and consumer will know what they are getting, the ingredients provided and the end result from using this product versus the competitor, I know my method and product will sell.
