Description of Request:
Analyze the HR system to integrate the existing variety of tools in use today into a single integrated application.
The information gathering techniques can come from many different sources. Analyst gather information from as many sources as possible. They use CASE tools that are generated from computers, and prove to be very helpful in the phase.
Also as a system analyst you would expected to have a brainstorming session with all key stakeholders, and CEO's, and any vital personal that would be involved with the project, and could offer vital information or ideas that could be used in the process. There would be a IT team decided to work the project, test the system and even develop a prototype that could be used for different reasons such as testing and even training for the HR department, since they would be the main users of the new system. Project cost would be calculated by the Accounting department, and be able to report available monies for the project.
Interviews should be done to help explain the companies ideas of " a more sophisticated, state of the art" expansion to the HR department to help plan the design phase, and shed light on expected outcomes.
