Cal grows increasingly jealous of Jack and Rose's relationship and plans an attempt to frame Jack of stealing a priceless diamond necklace, the "Heart of the Ocean". Then, Cal has Jack locked up in the lower parts of the ship, while the ship hits the iceberg. This leads Rose to find and save Jack while everyone is already being evacuated and the ship starts to fill with freezing cold water. As people are in hysteria, chaos ensues as people fight over each other to try and make it to the lifeboats to make it to safety. Rose finally finds Jack and rescues him while they make it back up to the deck of the ship. The ship then starts to sink even further and the ship eventually snaps in half and Rose and Jack are thrown into the freezing cold water. There is a wooden plank that Jack finds and makes Rose float on as they wait for a rescue tea to find them. Shortly after, Jack dies from hypothermia and sinks to the bottom of the ocean.
