Titanic Case

The Titanic is a movie about a 101 year old woman telling her miraculous story of sailing on the "unsinkable" titanic and falling in love during the tragic events that took place in 1912. Her name is Rose and she was a passenger on the Titanic along with Jack. Rose is unhappy with her arranged marriage to her cocky, chovanist fiancé Cal. Jack, a young artist, who struggles to get through life yet inexplicably enjoys it, sees the true Rose hidden behind the upper class snobs. They meet when depressed Rose attempts to commit suicide by jumping over the bow of the ship. Jack who just so happens to see what's happening stops her and it's love at first sight. As he continues to spend time with her the two fall in love and kiss on the bow of the Titanic where they first met. Meanwhile the ship hits an iceberg and begins to stink rapidly. The two must find a way to survive and get on one of the rescue boats before the frigid Atlantic Ocean kills them. Unfortunately Jack doesn't live to see his future with Rose due to his death. Rose is eventually rescued and taken to dry land where she will remain for the rest of her life without her soul mate.
