TRAVELING- IS IT NECESSARY?

Traveling is known as the movement of people from one place to the other for businesses, education, recreation and employment. Thus a question arises whether it is beneficial to travel or not. The answer arises here.

Traveling increases international globalization as people get a lot of opportunities to know about the native culture, local cuisines, art fields, heroic stories, different languages etc. For example, it is highly satisfying to throw a few words of Greek, to say hello in Thai or simply hear a complete new language. This exposure help people understand and communicate within a foreign country. Through traveling, one get a chance to interact with others, listen to their opinions and reduce misunderstanding and discrimination among countries thereby getting to know to know each other's perspective. For example, a person going from China to New Zealand carries its respective ethnic background and thereby socially and culturally exchanges it with the native people thus increasing their understanding. All kinds of activities like flying, cruising, eating out, etc.have a negative impact on the environment. As mentioned earlier, people stay in hotels thereby carelessly doesn't switch off the lights and fans leading to the wastage of energy. other factors like jet setting, pollution contribute towards global warming.

Thus, it can rightly be said that we destroy the paradise which we seek.

Lastly, some people cause damage to the local culture and traditions of the other countries. For instance, if smoking is prohibited in a country and if the foreigner smokes in the public, it is against the law thereby hampers ones culture.

Also, tourists are sometimes the reason for racial discrimination between nations. This can be illustrated by an example; Africans are sometimes ill-treated in the western countries. These reasons might result
