Biography

Hello. My name is Tara. I go by Baja. I'm 22 years old. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm working to complete my Bachelor's in English. My wish is to be a high school English teacher. I joined the army right out of high school. Four months after a arriving to my duty station, Fort Sill, OK, I deployed to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. That is where I met my husband. We married on New Year's Eve of 2009. We had our daughter in March if 2011. She is a wonderful bundle of joy. Right after I have birth, is when I signed up for classes. I ended up dropping my classes in June, last year. I was going through a little of a hard time so I decided to take a break. Well, it's been a long break, so here I am, ready to give it everything I've got. I am not in the army anymore. I took the pregnancy chapter out because I just don't think that, if faced with another deployment, I would be able to handle leaving my daughter. I'd rather be separated from my husband, if he had to deploy, and not my daughter. My husband came down on orders, to Korea, last year. We are here until the end of this year. My hobbies include photography and having a good time with my daughter. I love to sing, dance and act. I did it all throughout high school. Well, my whole life, actually. I could be having a bad day, and hysterically crying. All I have to do is jam to some good music and I'm not hysterical anymore. I'm probably babbling now. I have so much more to tell but I would end up writing a novel. I'm very outgoing. I'm not shy at all. I love meeting new people. I don't always like them, but still love meeting them. I'm spunky and random and I live life with no regrets. So I do crazy things out of spontaneity and thrill. For instance, when we get back to America, and visit my hometown, Las Vegas, I will be jumping off the 900 foot Stratosphere! That's just who I am. I can't wait to hear all of your stories!
