With the development of advanced technology, the use of computers in almost every subject in schools and universities is becoming popular in modern education. Some people worry that teachers no longer hold an important role in the classroom. Personally, I admit the benefits brought by computers but believe that teachers' role is irreplaceable.

In the first analysis, the role of teachers in classrooms is seemingly getting smaller with the widespread use of computers. It is common knowledge that students today stand a golden chance of learning on the Internet thanks to computers. Students are likely to enroll on a course on the Internet with e-lessons, e-tests that are assessed by computers, not by teachers. Needless to say, knowledge acquirement is certainly within reach with the help of computers, so learners do not really need to go to schools in real life, which contributes to the decline in teachers' role.

As a matter of fact, learners are bound to get better results. By and large, learning with teachers gives students an opportunity to learn effectively, which proves the vital role of teachers in classrooms.

Teachers and learners spend time strengthening relationship, creating mutual understanding. Admittedly, memory about each other is unforgettable to both teachers and students. More interestingly, life experience is what pupils can learn from their teachers, besides academic knowledge. For instance, Literature teachers have trend to draw the connection between novels and life, fictitious characters and real men. By this way, teachers give students advice gained from their own experience. Without fail, learners certainly would rather study with real teachers than computers for their personal enjoyment, which substantiates the indispensable role of teachers in modern education.

All in all, teachers' role in classrooms in schools and universities cannot be replaced, however many benefits computers bring, not only for learning quality but also for personal satisfaction. It is advisable that computers be used in many
