Tourism is being seen as sources of income for many economies. But which are discussed in this writing will show that it does not bring benefit only yet has its own disadvantages
Firstly, tourism brings significant revenue to national economy. It is worthy pointing out that many countries heavily depend on profit derived from travelers. They are not only a source of taxation but also a source of income for the enterprises due to their expense for products and services when travelling including entertainment, accommodation and catering. In addition, the expansion of hospitality stimulates the development of other factors such as transportation or construction industry. So it can be seen clearly that tourism creates many jobs for the society and contribute to the effort of reducing the unemployment rate. Thanks to this, the average living standard of people is being improved day by day. On the other words, foreign visitors help us utilize our strengths in nature and human resource to develop the domestic economy. Secondly, international visitors are effective tools to promote national scenery as well as culture all over the world. They play a vital part in bringing our country image to other nations through their mouth-of-words.
However, tourists are also the reason of many tough problems. Nobody can deny the fact that foreign visitors are usually a threat to the national security of the country they travel. National security needs tightening due to the afraid of disease spreading and terrorism caused by international travelers. Moreover, they also stimulate the process of exchanging culture which result in faster undermining local culture. Pollution is worsening because of waste from hospitality and their unconscious of protecting environment.
All things considered, hospitality is also remarkable source of revenue because this industry does not require a lot of literacy and it yields maximum profits with less investment. And international travelers can bring greater advantages than the problems caused by them which can be totally under controlled if we are well-prepeared.
