The proposed clients for coaching in this paper are people from 18 years and above that highly motivated with no mental problem that would like to improve their life. To ensure the success of this coaching endeavor, there are various phases or stage that ought to be followed by the pioneers of the activity. The first step is the formulation phase, and the consultant or coach meets with the client to make agreements, develop desired goals and clarify any expectations (Cook, & Poole, 2011).The coach takes enough time at this stage and plans for the activities extremely well because it is the foundation of the coaching activity. The second phase is the concentration where the coach teaches the clients various principles on improving their lives. The coach may use charts, concepts or even modules in a manner that the customer can easily understand.
The third phase involves the momentum stage. It is the core phase of any coaching or consulting activity. At this stage, one plus one is no longer two. Instead, the returns from the coaches input are higher as compared to the concentration phase. Most of the activities in the second step are maximized in this phase (Cook, & Poole, 2011). That is, if an activity used to be performed one or twice, the coach performs it even thrice. It is at this stage that changes in the people from 18 years and up that highly motivated with no mental problem that would like to improve their life are noted. Behavioral changes are easily noticed at this stage.
The four stage entails the breakthrough stage. This is the stage where total transformation occurs. The clients assume the total commitment to behavioral change (Cook, & Poole, 2011). Nevertheless, this is the most challenging stage, and most client’s give up at this stage. The secret to passing this stage is the ability to outweigh any obstacles that come along. The final stage entails the stability stage. At this phase, the consulting endeavor has integrated itself into the clients. The coach experiences an increased number of customers seeking their services. The coach is also no longer worried about the coached client because he or she comprehends that they are relatively stable and can handle their life challenges effectively. Besides, there are many referrals, and the consulting company does not need to place ads to attract customers.
Paying for the consultation fee is one of the necessities for a client to receive the services. For the effectiveness of the consulting business, various billing procedures will be used. The consulting company will have some billing procedures that will enable its clients to pay for the services. These procedures entail checks, credit card, and email.
