"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin

"Stairway to Heaven", is written by a British band known as Led Zeppelin. The song was

released in 1971 ,and it was formulated by ,guitarist Jimmy Page and Vocalist Robert Plant.

"Stairway to Heaven", was considered one of the greatest rock song and was voted #3, in 2000

by, VH1.(Wikepdia.com) . "Stairway to Heaven", is about a woman, who is greedy and did some

bad things in life; she always wanted to have money or material things. The woman is

searching for hope and the meaning of life; she realizes choosing the right paths and having

morals, and excluding the wrong paths, it would hopefully bring her to heaven. In other words,

people sometimes have the disposition of greediness and doing immoral things. Eventually,

some people wake up, and realize being greedy and doing bad things, is not the way to live.

Having morals and avoiding the bad things in life, is lending to the right direction, on the way to

heaven.

Nevertheless, in Led Zeppelin song, "There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold". "And

she's buying a stairway to heaven". This means a woman, who is greedy with material things

and being bad, she fathoms on changing her life style ,so she could go to heaven. In similarly, I

could relate to this song. For instance, when I was a teenager, all I wanted to do was, go to

work and make money and party. I did some things I shouldn't have done. I was greedy because

all I thought about was money .When I should have gone to school, instead of partying and

working and being bad. I changed my ways when I turned twenty. Finally, I woke up and gather

some awareness in my head, I started doing good things, by helping the poor and doing

charities. I didn't think of money anymore; I started thinking of helping others that needed

help. Not only did I finally comprehend on acting right, but I also knew how important it was to

have the acceptance from heaven.
