Training plan is a type of working document. Through this plan every trainee receives all the required components of the training. It is very much helpful to meet the requirements. When we are planning the following requirements needs to be addressed in a training plan:
- A time-framework must be made to reach the end-users.
- What type of training to be undertaken during the complete plan
- The delivery modes that are going to be utilized throughout the plan
- The competencies that each individual is to be obtained to do a proper job
- Who is responsible for each appraisal of the above competencies
- Any other particular requirements to be met as per the specific training contract being referred to.
Proper Communication and Collaboration strategies ought to be made remembering the final objective to fabricate proficiency in the organization. Organization need to complete assorted correspondence procedures which are fitting for a specific gathering of group of stakeholders. So to make the training effective it is required to follow the proper communication channel so that each and every involved individual can achieve the end result of the training.
Various mode of communication can be used while the execution of the training plan. First of all, proper mail communication needs to done commence the training program and schedule as well so that all the involved stakeholder will be aware of the training program and its objective as well and what is the desired outcome and expectation from the participant. After that, remainder mails needs to be circulated by the training coordinator so that it can be ensured that training session will be attended by all of the participant. Between of the training mail and shared memory storage can be used where training material and presentation can be stored and trainee can refer those material after the training to have very understanding of the subject matter.
There are many communication channels to choose which suits the best for the particular group of audience. The following points that needs to be focused while planning are:
- Interpersonal communication creates interaction between all the members of team.
- Provide graphical materials through many resources among employees in order to enhance more knowledge.
- Plan to conduct regular meetings in an organization where all the team members are involved & can have more chances to reach the objectives.
- Understand all the three main communication channels i.e., formal, informal & unofficial types to make communication through face-to-face, through emails etc.
- Include all the visual aids which makes it easy for better & effective understanding.
Collaboration in the training plan execution
Collaboration is very required element for the execution of any training plan. So training coordinator have to collaborate with the all the stakeholder and telling about what is pros and cons of the training program and how this whole training program will be conducted and what will be the outcome of the training program as well and what will the success criteria of the training program. This whole plan will be well discussed and collaborated with higher management so that higher management will be update about all the activities which are happening in the training program. Once training program have been approved by the designated higher authority then training plan execution can be started by communication with the all training participant.
During the training program collaboration between the trainer, training coordinator and trainees required so that trainer keep posted about the training progress and performance of each individual so that personal attention can be provided to the required candidate. All the involved stakeholder need to communicate properly using the various communication mechanism like email, meeting invite or remainder. To promote the collaboration among the trainees various groups can be formed and intergroup discussions and competition can be help to promote the competitiveness among the employees and discussion session can also be conducted within the trainees so that it can be ensured that trainees are communicating with other effectively and sharing their thought as well.
